Product Description
This is a duo molecule fungicide consisting of Dimethomorph & Cymoxanil in powder form. Mode of Action Dimethomorph is a cinnamic acid derivative under the family of morphiline which acts by preventing the cell wall formation of fungus by inhibiting esgosteral synthesis, spore production. Therefore Dimethomorph offers both preventive and curative action against fungus of water mold family eg late blight & downey mildew. Cymoxanil is a systemic fungicide which penetrates the plant rapidly and inhibits the cellular activity of fungal cell eg synthesis of nucleic acid, amino acids leading to death of the fungal cell. Therefore, Duostar, having both Dimethomorph and Cymoxanil, has both preventive and curative action against a wide variety of fungal groups.
